DUCK FOR CHRISTMAS
A recent investigation documents harsh conditions in one of the biggest duck fattening facilities in Germany.
Kept in industrial facilities to produce a maximum amount of meat, the ducks become top-heavy and often can’t support their own weight. They will be killed for their meat with 6-7 weeks of age, in Germany approx. 16.000.000 ducks annually.
To ensure journalistic standards, a GPS device is used, along with a current newspaper, proving timeframe and location to the publishing media outlets.
